A mass of Christian burial was held Nov. 17 at Saint Paul of the Cross RC Church, Jersey City, for Mildred (Ninu) Cavanaugh, formerly Hoboken and Jersey City. She passed away Nov. 13. She was the wife of the late John R.; mother of Margaret M. McLeer and her husband Michael, Peter Cavanaugh and the late Peranna Meneghello and Richard J. Cavanaugh; sister of Theresa Imeri; and grand and great-grandmother of many grand and great-grandchildren. Mildred herself to being a homemaker and raising her children and later in life worked at Tippy’s Charcoal Haven, Jersey City where she made many good friends. Services arranged by the Clerici Funeral Home, Union City.
