Dear Editor:
On behalf of the Hoboken Uptown Farmers’ Market, I would like to thank all of our customers and neighbors for a great season. The ability to find freshly picked Jersey Fresh produce right around the corner is a wonderful asset to our local economy and is good for you, too! We are thrilled to see the same faces returning week after week in search of strawberries in June and tomatoes in August. We are grateful to all our vendors who stuck it out each week, rain or shine. They include Dr. Pickle, Hoboken Farms, Stony Hill Farms, Gina’s Bakery, Jeff’s Organic Produce and Ort Farms. Rite Aid, TD Bank, King’s, Hudson Tavern and especially the Hoboken Historical Museum make great neighbors for our vendors, often supplying a brief respite in air conditioning during the hottest summer market days. A special thank you goes to The Applied Company for use of the sidewalk for the Market, and the City of Hoboken for their ongoing support. Special recognition goes out to our volunteers who worked tirelessly to promote the market in the uptown community – thank you so much!
