A funeral mass was celebrated Nov. 8 at St. Bridget’s Church for Peter R. McEneaney, 79, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. He passed away Nov. 4. Peter was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and had been retired from Preston Trucking Co. in Jersey City after many years of service. He is survived by his wife Catherine (nee Walsh). He was the father of Ann Marie Hauman and husband Gary, Peter Jr. and wife Mariella, Michael and wife Maria, Patrick and wife Pamella, James, Ellen Benko and husband James; brother of Marion, Patricia and Margaret, predeceased by 1 sister and 4 brothers; grandfather of Gary and wife Vanessa, Kelly, Katie, James, Megan, Jaime and James; and also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
