Funeral mass took place Oct. 19 at St. Paul of the Cross R.C. Church for John Schmaus, 92, of Jersey City. He passed away Oct. 15. Husband of the late Marie (Odenheimer), father of Marilyn Gaeta, Diane Meegan, Karen Murray and Brenda Casey; also survived 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
