What’s new in the Hudson Reporter newspapers this weekend?

HUDSON COUNTY – There’s plenty to read in the various editions of the Hudson Reporter newspapers this weekend.
In Hoboken, layoffs of municipal employees may be coming after the City Council refused Mayor Dawn Zimmer’s request to approve two bond measures.
A very large crowd turned out for the final Hudson County hearing on the Spectra Energy pipeline proposal on Wednesday. See the story in our Jersey City paper or on this website beginning Monday, as well as a new turn in the 10 year-old case of Pat Viola, missing since 2001.
In our Jersey City paper and The Secaucus Reporter you’ll find a story about resources available to victims of domestic violence. Our Secaucus paper also has an update on the status of the American Dream recreation and entertainment complex on Route 3 in the Meadowlands, formerly known as Xanadu.
Also in our Weehawken papers is a charming story about the 50th reunion of the Weehawken High School Class of 1961.
All this, plus Jim Hague’s sports reporting and ‘Between The Lines’ by Al Sullivan, so pick up a copy of the paper for your town this weekend and catch up with what’s new!
