The 2011 Digable Arts Festival will take place the weekend of Oct. 15 and 16, 2011 at the Monroe Center for the Arts, 720 Monroe St., Hoboken, from Noon to 7 p.m. A great weekend full of culture, right off Ninth Street/Congress Light Rail Station. Come share the Collective Digable Experience. Free admission and parking.
Now in its second year, this Independent Arts Festival promises to be powerful. Over seven studios and thousands of square feet of contemporary art. Two stages with music and performances, and multiple art installations round out the weekend festivities; all under one roof. “This will be a spectacular Interactive Art and Music Festival,” states Roland Ramos, organizer and curator for The Digable Arts Festival. “It’s an interactive experience lasting the entire weekend. One moment, you’re viewing a theatrical performance, the next moment you’re enjoying a live musical act on the outdoor stage, all while being surrounded by wonderful art.”
