Thank you, everyone

To the Editor:
Wallace Temple AME Zion Church says thank you to everyone who attended our recent spiritual concert. It was heartwarming seeing so many new faces. We hope you will celebrate future events with us.
Out featured soloist, Troy Smith, was outstanding in voice, had a great stage presence, and a sense of humor, which Rev. Patterson said “is a winning combination.” The congregation was pleased to see her (their pastor) join Troy in the opening song.
Colette Jackson-Belle was amazing, Fr. Clayton Fernandes a joy, Glenda Nicholas on the stool pan received a big hug from drummer Rick Williamson, and Msgr. Paul Schetelick’s closing prayer touched our hearts.
The choirs of Wallace, “hats off to you.” You were the icing on the cake. They have volunteered to provide the music ministry for the upcoming Bayonne CROP Hunger Walk on Oct. 23, starting and ending at Assumption Church. Walkers, donors and sponsors, we need you to show the world Bayonne cares and shares. Visit www.cropwalk.org for more info.
