VOZA, PAULINE M

A mass of Christian burial took place Aug. 8 at St. Aedan’s Church for Pauline M. Voza, 99, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She passed away at her home after a long illness. A secretary for Egyptian Lacquer Mfg. Co. in South Kearny for many years, she retired 30 years ago. A published author of poems and short stories, she was an avid bowler with the Senior Citizens of Jersey City. In later years she took up painting and piano playing. Pauline was a lover of all animals. Predeceased by her husband Joseph M. and her siblings, Lorenzo, Joseph, Angelo, John, Thomas Sesta, Jennie Balbo and Christine Cafiero, she is survived by her son Joseph M. Jr.; a very special niece and travel companion, Anne Gentile; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
