North Bergen to be site of press conference on findings in boxer Gatti’s death

NORTH BERGEN AND BEYOND – The findings of a ten-month investigation surrounding boxing legend Arturo Gatti’s death will be revealed on Tuesday, Aug 30 at 11 a.m. in North Bergen.
Three-time world champion Gatti was found dead at age 37 within his Brazil apartment on July 11, 2009. Authories at first incarcerated his widow on suspicion of murder, but she was released when Brazilian authorities ruled his death a suicide. Still, authorities wanted to perform more investigation.
The pair have both lived in Hudson County.
The investigation was put forth by Pat Lynch, Gatti’s manager.
The conference will be held at Global Boxing Gym at 5601-5711 Tonnelle Ave. in North Bergen. – Stephen LaMarca
