Funeral mass was offered July 30 at St. Joseph of the Palisades R.C. Church in West New York for Wendell John Smith, 64. He passed away July 24. Wendell John was born in Teaneck. He was a chef at the Essex House in New York and a member of the Union Local 6 in NYC. He was the son of Dorothy (nee) Maupai. Wendell John is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services arranged by the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.
