LOEHWING, JANICE

A funeral mass was offered Aug. 2 at St. Francis R.C. Church for Janice Loehwing (Brown), 75. She was born in Jersey City and lived most of her life in Hoboken. Janice died under hospice care at her Hoboken home. Mrs. Loehwing began as a nursing aide at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hoboken, and retired as Hoboken Board of Education luncheon aide, assigned at Connors and Wallace Schools. Predeceased by her late husband Leroy in 1977, she will be missed by three sons, Leroy, Ronald, and Richard; her five daughters, Janice Addeo, Patricia Velazques, Cherly Del Valle, Tammie Garcia, and Sandra Jansen; two daughters-in-law, Rose and Antoinette; her sons-in-law: Carmen, Ed, David, John, and Christopher; four sisters: Linda, Barbara, Arlene, and Elizabeth; three brothers: Clifford, Alan, and John; 25 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Janice was predeceased by two grandsons, Leroy and Chase; a son Robert; and a sister Phyllis. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
