Citrin Cooperman & Company awards three New Jersey students with Business/Accounting Scholarships

Citrin Cooperman, a leading accounting and business consulting firm, announced that three graduating high school seniors from New Jersey were awarded scholarships as part of the firm’s seventh annual High School Accounting/Business Student Grant program.
Daisy Fernandez, of North Bergen High School; Kevin Rodriguez, of Linden High School; and Bianca Tucker, of Newark’s Technical High School, each will receive a $1,000 annual grant for four years. Fernandez will attend Rutgers University’s School of Business in New Brunswick. Rodriguez was accepted at Marshall University, in West Virginia. Tucker will attend Penn State University.
Citrin Cooperman’s college grant program, begun in 2005, awards scholarships based on academic achievement and a strong desire to pursue a career in the accounting or business field. The firm awarded a total of 11 scholarships this year, including two to students in Westchester County (N.Y.), two Philadelphia, New York City and Fairfield County (Conn.).
