HUDSON COUNTY — An immingrant detainee being held in a special unit at the Hudson County Correctional Facility has come down with chicken pox, according to county officials.
“All detainees on the unit have been quarantined, and the infected detainee is quarantined in our infirmary,” jail officials reported in a memo to the county. “We are in the process of informing all staff members relative to universal precautionary measures. The housing units shall be quarantined for 21 days, and there is a posting at the facilities entrance advising all who enter as to the potential for exposure. ICE is in the loop.”
