HUDSON COUNTY — The mayors of West New York and Weehawken are hoping to bring Formula One racing to their waterfront streets as early as 2013, according to the Wall Street Journal and NJ.com.
They have been in talks with racing investors, including former TV cable network head Leo Hindery, NJ.com said.
The race would run annually on River Road and Blvd. East, so that it would show up on TV with the New York City skyline in the background.
