HOBOKEN – Erin Bellissimo of Hoboken recently received the Graham & Dodd, Murray, Greenwald Prize for outstanding contributions to the field of value investing. Along with the recognition for the award, Bellissimo won $50,000.
Instead of keeping the money, she is choosing to “pay it forward” by donating all of the money to Mustard Seed School in Hoboken to kick off a technology initiative.
“This gift will create new opportunities for the school to prepare students to be digital citizens and use technology to delve deeper into their studies,” said Thomas Postema, Mustard Seed’s Head of School. “We plan to use the gift to purchase two MacBook Learning Labs, up-to-date software, and implement other cutting edge technologies in the classroom.”
Bellissimo is a parent who serves on the school’s Board of Trustees.
