COARI, MARY E. MILNE

A funeral mass was offered July 11 at St. Francis Church, Hoboken, for Mary E. Milne Coari, 68. She passed away July 6 at Hoboken University Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, she was a lifelong resident of Hoboken. She last was employed by the City of Hoboken as a crossing guard, retiring many years ago. Mary was an active parishioner of St. Francis Church. In addition to being a member of the St. Francis Mother’s Guild, she was in charge of the St. Francis Bingo Program for many years. Outside of her church, she was avid supporter of the Hoboken Elks and Hoboken Little League, where she had watched her children and grandchildren play for many years. She is predeceased by her first husband, Harold Milne, Sr., and siblings, Bob Morris and Judy Hansen. Surviving is her husband Augustino ‘Gus’ Coari; and her children, Harold Milne, Jr. ‘Junior’ and his wife Linda, Cathy Montavo and her husband Tommy, Thom Milne and his partner Raymond, John Milne and his wife Kelli, Bobby Milne and his wife Diana. She was the sister of Violet ‘Buster’ Morris, Joan Willms, Adeline Ciraulo, Charles and Billy Morris. She was the grandmother of J.J., Kelsey, Connor, Tommy, Trey, Reign, Mary Grace and Jack. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Services arranged by the Earl F. Bosworth Funeral Home, Hoboken.
