Memorial Day Parade is a great pride and beauty of Secaucus. We pay our homage to our martyrs who lay down their lives for the country on this day. This parade brings too much joy and smiles to all the residents of the town.
It is a matter of a great joy and pride for Indian Community because Indian Cosas of Secaucus and Swaminarayan Temple Pipe Band took an active part in this parade.
But it is a matter of sorrow that very few Indians take an active roll in the local activities. We are here for our better living. When we are settled here and enjoy all the rights as citizens, we have to mix up with the local community and we have to show our unity and integrity towards this country and local community by taking, active roll in all activities held by our Town, I hope and have a faith that next time, we will pour ourselves in a great numbers in the coming events.
