Dear Editor:
I have noticed over the past few days that the HPU is measuring an extra 10 feet more from the corner and marking with yellow spray paint. Can this mean that they are going to remove 80 feet more of parking from each and every intersection in the city, which is the equivalent of say 4 cars? So if there are 175 to 200 intersections in the city, that would mean they are reducing approximately 750 to 800 parking spaces. Can this the happening? Before the yellow zones are extended, the mayor and city council should be asked to comment and do something about this. I am a business permit holder and the impact of this will be even worse for me. The whole idea is just dumb.
