Northeastern University celebrated its 109th commencement on Friday May 6th at TD Garden in Boston. The following local residents were among the 3,200 graduating seniors:
* North Bergen (07047) resident Amanda Rose Strobel, a Northeastern University student majoring in Business Administration, graduated. In addition, Amanda Strobel graduated with high honors, Summa Cum Laude.
* Union City (07087) resident Mabel A. Ubiera, a Northeastern University student majoring in Psychology, graduated.
