Hoboken Memorial Day Parade held Wednesday night

HOBOKEN – The 113th Annual Hoboken Memorial Day Parade will kick off at 6:45 p.m. from City Hall at First and Washington streets and proceed uptown to the Hoboken Elks Club, located at 10th and Washington streets.
Hoboken’s Memorial Day Parade is the oldest in New Jersey, and is celebrated to “honor the brave men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice for their country,” according to a release. Former State Sen. Bernard Kenny, who is also a Navy veteran, will be the grand marshall of the parade, and bands from across the area are expected to march in the parade.
