HUDSON COUNTY — Local fans of the Bravo reality show Real Housewives of New Jersey were not likely disappointed Monday night when season 3 premiered. It guest-starred a Hoboken apartment, a baby who needed to be christened, and a fight that put the first season’s table-flipping to shame.
To justify this as an item on the homepage of Hudson County’s only Sunday newspaper group, of course, let’s start with the Hoboken aspect. Albie and Chris Manzo, the bachelor sons of one of the families on the show, have finally moved out of momma Caroline Manzo’s house. They’ve been at the luxury 333 River St. apartment since this past November (see links to our interview with the boys below). On Monday’s episode, Caroline seems to be sad that her nest is emptying. She and husband Albert Manzo tour the boys’ digs and are pleased with the Manhattan view (see photos).
In non-Hudson County related news, much of the episode focuses on the brother of series regular Theresa Giudice. Her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga have become very competitive with Theresa and her own Joe. A fight even breaks out at the christening of baby…Joe.
