A funeral mass was held April 14 at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus for Ellen C. Schmitt, 87, formerly of North Bergen. She passed away April 11. She was the wife of the late Frederick L. Schmitt; mother of Patricia Jasiczek and her husband Stan, Raymond Schmitt, Barbara Schmitt, Jackie Schmitt- Biamonte and the late Freddie Schmitt; grandmother of Steven and Sarah Jasiczek and Janelle and Nicholas Biamonte; and sister of Margaret Modarelli and Vincent “Buddy” Conroy. Ellen was also predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Mary (nee Powers) Conroy. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
