A mass of Christian burial was offered April 18 at St. Michael’s Church for Patrick G. O’Neill, 95. He passed away at his home in Sicklerville, N.J. on April 13. A native of Belfast, Ireland, Patrick lived most of his life in Jersey City before moving to Sicklerville in 2002. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Patrick worked as a longshoreman with Local 1247 for over 40 years. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret (nee Sharpe). He is survived by his daughters, Sheila (Gerald) Loschiavo, Sharon (Edward) Slipek and Dorothy (James) Roach, as well as sisters, Elizabeth Morgan, Mary Smith, Kathleen Vanent, Frances Perna, Josephine McLaughlin and the late Anne Faltin. He was the grandfather of six and great-grandfather of five. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
