A funeral mass took place April 5 at St. Paul of the Cross RC Church for Julia (Sheila) Grogan O’Connell, 80. She passed away April 1. Born in New York City, she lived in Jersey City for the past 30 years. O’Connell was an admitting clerk for St. Luke’s Hospital, New York City, for 27 years. She retired 15 years ago. Surviving are three daughters, Linda Tarantino, Denise Creel and Patricia Gebhardt; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Services arranged by the Fallon Funeral Home, Jersey City.
