WNY woman to hold press conference to announce for 32nd District assembly seat

WEST NEW YORK — Angelica Maria Jimenez of West New York will hold a press conference today to formally make the announcement that she is joining Sen. Nicholas Sacco’s (D-North Bergen) legislative team and will be vying for the position of assemblywoman in the 32nd District, according to published reports.
The press conference will be held today at 4:30 p.m. at the Marinero Grill, 761 Farragut Pl., in West New York.
Jimenez, 46, is vice president of the West New York Board of Education and a founding member and vice president of the West New York Women’s Club. She is also an elected member of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee.
Professionally, she works as a state-licensed radiology technician for a private firm in Jersey City.
