To the Editor:
After reading all of the negativity recently regarding Bayonne Medical Center, I felt compelled to write this letter. I was recently admitted to Bayonne Medical Center through the emergency room. I had to be admitted and had to stay for several days. The care that I received there was excellent. The nurses were compassionate, caring, and couldn’t do enough for me. Anyone who came into my room asked me how I was feeling and if I needed anything.
I must extend special thanks to Pat O’Brian from the emergency room and all of the nurses from 3R. To Dawn T. from same day surgery, thank you for talking to me like a friend at a very difficult time. You made me relaxed and completely at ease. You are a true blessing to your profession. To Dr. Simpson, Dr. Suczewski, and Dr. Boghossian – thank you all for your superb care and support. I am forever grateful.
For anyone doubting going to Bayonne Medical Center, please reconsider. The care and compassion I received there will always be remembered. It was well beyond my expectations.
