A funeral mass was offered March 28 at SS Joseph and Michael’s Church for Louis J. Rizzi. He passed away March 23. Lou was predeceased by his wife, Marie (Healy), and is survived by his children, Lois Ernst, Marie Arbour, Stephen Rizzi and Jane Marie McCrum; and fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Born in what was then West Hoboken, he went off to the U.S. Army for World War II. Returning home, he became a member of IBEW Local 3 and remained a member for over 75 years. For years, he was a purchasing agent for Coyne Electrical Supply in Brooklyn. As a veteran, he was also involved in the American Legion, Union City Post.
