HOBOKEN — As reported last week, Hoboken parking director Ian Sacs was involved in an altercation last Thursday with a city bus driver. Apparently, Sacs had come across a city vehicle that was parked but running with the keys still in it. He drove the bus back to City Hall. There, an altercation ensued between Sacs and the driver, whose personal keys were on the key ring.
Various rumors and other accounts have swirled about what happened, and why.
The driver was suspended without pay, while Sacs remains on the job.
Last Friday, Sacs submitted his version of what happened, which can be viewed on the right under “Most Commented.”
