A funeral mass was held March 23 at St. Vincent De Paul R.C. Church, Bayonne, for Mary E. Hjelm, 49, formerly of Bayonne. She passed away at home with her family by her side. Mary was born in Jersey City, and was living in Secaucus for the past 15 years. Mary was a video conferencing supervisor for Block Drug Company in Jersey City for several years. Mary was the mother of Matthew L. Ford, Nicole M. Hjelm and Melissa A. Hjelm; grandmother of Michaela R. Hjelm; sister of Maureen Smith and her husband Ray, Kathleen Del Piano, Patrick Dunne and his wife Michele, Robert Dunne and his wife Lisa and the late John P. Dunne Jr., and his living wife Elizabeth. She was the daughter of the late John P. Dunne Sr. and Gertrude Abbey Dunne; and also survived by many nieces and nephews.
