Vehicle smashed by tree in downtown Jersey City

JERSEY CITY – One resident of the Hamilton Park neighborhood in Jersey City will be unhappy to find that his little car was smashed by a tree on Tuesday afternoon. A witness e-mailed the Reporter to say, “The truck took down the tree, according to people in the basketball playground.”
Whether the truck is at fault or not, the car isn’t going anywhere today.
