Dear Editor:
I’ve lived in Hoboken for a while, read The Reporter religiously, and really enjoyed your signs article on Feb. 20, as there are probably quite a few citizens who are interested in these old painted signs around town. Thanks for the clarification on the Doc Izzo sign, as I thought it was old. Your article mentioned the sign on Adams Street that had been uncovered and then recovered when they did some building construction. My husband Robert and I were driving up Adams Street enroute home when I saw the sign. I made my husband stop the car and I jumped out and took the photo with my Blackberry. At least there is a visual history of that signage.
