Funeral services took place March 15 at the Wah Wing Sang Funeral Corp. for Sidney Chew, 50, born in Jersey City and a lifelong resident. He passed away March 7. He was a son, brother, and friend who will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. His warm smile, gregarious manner and his willingness to help everyone will be fondly remembered. He loved his 28 years of work at the A. Harry Moore School where he brought joy and kindness to everyone he knew. His other passion included bowling on Saturdays with the Ability League. Sidney also represented Hudson County in the Olympics. He is predeceased by his father, Ng Chew. He is the son of Kam Wing Lee Chew; brother to Fred Chew, brother-in-law to Roxanne and uncle to Timothy Joseph; and brother to Peggy Chew and brother-in-law to Adrian Frey.
