A memorial service is planned for Leonard E. Novack, 82. He passed away at Jersey City Medical Center on Feb. 25. He was born in Wilkes Barre, Pa., and lived in Jersey City most of his life, most recently at Wittenberg Manor Senior Community. He was employed with Motivated Guard Services for many years prior to retiring. One of Leonard’s favorite leisure activities had been fishing. He also enjoyed preparing his own meals, especially salads which he gladly shared with his neighbors. He often participated in various senior outings with his friends and companion, Jeanette Lane. Surviving to cherish Leonard’s memory are his sister, Dorothy; his companion Jeanette; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
