A celebration of the life of Wyatt Newton took place March 8 at the Calvary C.M.E. Church, Jersey City. He passed away on March 1. He served the community of Jersey City and abroad keeping the black hair independently beautiful for 31 years as a sales representative for Independent Beauty Supply. He was the husband of Clare Perry Newton; son of Mary Ann Newton and the late Frank Morris Newton Jr.; brother of Elder Ralph, Floyd, Vermia J. Newton, Delores Newton Brown, and the late Alvin Newton; brother in-law of Paul Brown, Isiah Perry, Stella Banks Ford, Lynette and Jean Shuler, Elder Lavonya Newton; and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins, customers other relatives and friends.
