Funeral services were held Feb. 26 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Bentley D. Herbert, 64, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away Feb. 17, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in St. Helena, S.C. He was the husband of Brenda Herbert; father of Jason V. Herbert; grandfather of Jason M. Herbert Jr.; brother of Jeffery Small and Anthony Small of Jersey City; and brother-in-law of Harold and Loretta Jackson of St. Helena, S.C. and Ernest and Lois Benjamin of San Antonio, Texas.
