A funeral mass was celebrated Feb. 17 at Immaculate Conception Church for Ruth J. Vanderwiel, 89. She passed away Feb. 14. She was the wife of the late John Vanderwiel; mother of the late Carol Lynne Weeder; grandmother of Dana Lynne Weeder; and great-grandmother of Matthew James Morrissey. Ruth was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church where she was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
