A funeral mass was offered Feb. 22 at Holy Family Church for Eulalia Margot Sanchez, 99. She passed away Feb. 18. She was born in Las Villas, Cuba. In 1936, she married Rafael Diaz-Lugo. Margot fled Cuba in 1962 due to political persecution and settled in West New York with her son Rafael Diaz and daughters Mireya Gonzalez and Marta Trujillo. Bita is survived by her daughters, daughter-in-law, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Throughout her life she was devoted to the family she loved. Services arranged by the Morgado Funeral Home, Union City.
