A funeral mass took place Feb. 22 at St. Mary’s Church, Jersey City, for Jose Angel Rodriguez-Sierra. “Davilita,” 88, passed away Feb. 16, at his residence. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico he came to Jersey City at the age of 15. He was last employed as an Auto Body Technician. Davilita was an avid guitar player and loved to play and sing. He enjoyed listening to oldies, such as songs by Felipe Rodriguez and other old Hispanic folk music. He was an amazing father who worked so hard to support his children and family. His pride and joy was not only his children but his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Luz Elenia. He is survived by his children: Nereida, Gladys, Norma, Milagros, Aida, Maria I., Diana, Migdalia, Maria M., Joseph, Angelina, David, Iris, Julie, Jasmin and the late Josephine. He is also grandfather of over 150 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services arranged by the Introcaso-Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City.
