Funeral mass took place Feb. 21 at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, for Eleanor Kavanagh, 78, formerly of Jersey City. She passed away Feb. 16. She was the wife of the late Charles Kavanagh; mother of Paul and his wife Sandra and Michael and his wife Marylynn; grandmother of Michael Quasarano, Michael, Matt, and Michaela Paris; and sister of Mary Kakakyra, Catherine Costigan, Anna Nixon and the late Robert Brown. Eleanor was a former waitress for Plaza Diner in Secaucus for 28 years. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
