Funeral service was held Feb. 19 at St. Michael’s Methodist Church, Jersey City, for Lillie Mae Butler. She passed away Feb. 9 at Jersey City Medical Center. She had been employed at St. Mary’s Medical Center as a Nurses’ Aide. She was the wife of Joseph Butler; mother of Duane, Dwight, Ronald, Joe Ann, Billie Jean and Sheila Butler; grandmother of 17; great-grandmother of 14; sister of Jessie, Frank, Mack Jr., Roger and Alfonso Ravenell, Annie Lee Glover, Ruby Bryant, Ruth Owsley, Thelma Spann and Lucy Snell; and is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
