WEEHAWKEN — Weehawken resident and author Larry Jaffee will speak at the Weehawken Public Library tonight at 8 p.m. on the topics of self-publishing, how authors can target a special-interest audience, and how he turned a cult TV series into a profitable business.
Jaffee is the author and editor of two recently published books, “Walford State of Mind” and “Albert Square & Me: The Actors of EastEnders,” both of which have been culled from the Walford Gazette (www.wgazette.com), which he has published and edited on a quarterly basis since 1992. It is the world’s only newspaper dedicated to EastEnders, Britain’s most popular soap opera and the BBC’s longest running TV series.
Over a 30-year career, Jaffee has also been the top editor of several business magazines and websites, and as a journalist has been published in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Parade, and Vibe, among other publications.
