HOBOKEN AND BEYOND — The TV reality show “The Next Great Baker,” a sequel to the Hoboken-based “Cake Boss,” crowned its winner Monday night after two contestants designed cakes reflecting the city of Hoboken. They were judged by Mayor Dawn Zimmer, as well as Hoboken baker Buddy Valastro and Buddy’s mom Mary.
The winner was contestant Dana Herbert from Delaware. He now gets $50,000 and the chance to serve as Buddy’s apprentice.
