Mrs. Eleanor Kanula:
I am writing this letter to the editor of the B.C. News to thank you for the fine letter you wrote about the transfer of Saint Joseph’s R.C. Church to the Syriac Church so that the public would know the truth.
My husband and I also come from a long line of Slovaks that have been a part of St. Joseph’s all our lives, and were very saddened by what has happened.
Since the Archdiocese of Newark decided to make this move, they should have sent a representative in person to meet with us, the parishioners of St. Joseph’s Church.
So once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
