A mass of Christian burial was held Jan. 4 at St. Anne Polish Church for Stella Sadowski-Fleuchaus, formerly of Jersey City. She passed away at Forest Manor in Hope, N.J. Born in Jersey City, Stella was a lifelong resident prior to moving to Hope. She was 100 years of age. She was a saleswoman for various clothing stores in Jersey City and a member of St. Anne’s Polish Church. Predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Sadowski and Henry Fleuchaus, as well as siblings, Anna Zaluska, Bertha Kaminski, Stephanie Sczerba and Joseph Walejko, Stella is survived by her son Raymond Sadowski and his wife Joan; granddaughters, Deborah Mastrolia of Hunting Beach, Calif., Barbara Ferrarra of Forked River, N.J., and Joanne Monastiere of Bozman, Montana; as well as great-grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, and Sierra. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
