Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy, Standard Bearer, and the Board of Trustees would like to thank the Inserra Family and the Inserra Jersey City Shop Rite for their financial support with our fifth annual holiday food program for needy families in Jersey City.
On December 6, 2010, with the cooperation of Dr. Charles Epps and the Jersey City Board of Education, Mayor Healy distributed $200 Shop Rite gift cards to 40 needy families enrolled in non public schools, all donated by the Healy Foundation.
During the week of Thanksgiving, the Foundation also provided 1,200 Shop Rite turkeys to needy families throughout the City.
Since 2006, our Foundation gave back to our community $565,000.00 and this was made possible by the generosity of businesses and individuals who have supported our Foundation. “THANK YOU”.
I personally want to thank and acknowledge the Board of Trustees for their hard work and team support, Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy, Standard Bearer, Joseph Napolitano, Secretary and Treasurer, Patricia Connors, Chairwoman, Dinner Dance Committee, Maureen Hulings, Chairwoman, Golf Committee, Richard Dwyer, Mary Jean Guadadiello, Lynn Hayes, Neil Hayes, Maureen Healy, Jim Madden, Kevin O’Connor, Mike Ryan and Ciro Soalera.
Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy, and the Board of Trustees extend to all a very healthy Holiday Season and a New Year of peace and happiness.
