A funeral service was held Jan. 2 at Monumental Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Lillian Goodrum. She passed away Dec. 25 at home in Fords, N.J. Formerly of Jersey City, Lillian worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a console operator. She was the daughter to the late Emmitt O. Andrews and Bennetta Aikins; wife to the late Lesley Goodrum; Mother to Lisa D. Goodrum; sister to Gloria Lynch, Deloros Hayes, Vivian Strong; grandmother to Amani Henry; aunt to Hazel Bruney, and is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
