To the Editor:
This message is for Santa, who was in 27th Street Park. My little nephew Jason, who is five years old, started not to believe in Santa. When we saw Santa on the fire truck, I looked at him and said, “Now do you believe?” He said yes, and just seeing his face made my day. And it made mine also, because when they lit up the tree on Broadway, I was in the hospital. And I am a 45 year old woman who was also very happy to see Santa, because in November, I was in the hospital and I missed out on a lot of things, especially hearing the children singing on Broadway.
But to everybody who was in the park, especially the police and firemen, thank you for a really great time. And a very special thank you to Santa. God bless you, Santa, and the Bayonne Police Department and the Fire Department, too, and all the men who work in the Park department.
