Hoboken snow update: Police to begin towing cars; reduced rate garage parking extended

HOBOKEN — Hoboken police planned to begin towing cars along emergency snow routes on Monday morning, according to a city press release. Emergency snow routes are indicated by red and white signs which read “No parking when road is snow covered – tow away zone.”

Owners of cars that have been towed should go to the Parking Utility in the basement of City Hall for a tow release.
Also, reduced rate garage parking for residents in Garage B (28 2nd St.) and Garage D (215 Hudson St.) was extended until 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, according to city spokesperson Juan Melli.
