JERSEY CITY – Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah Healy and members of the Municipal Council are urging city employees and residents to donate non-perishable canned or packaged foods. Food donations will be distributed to local food pantries.
From now through Dec. 29, donations can be brought to the following locations:
City Hall -1st Floor, 280 Grove Street, Mon. -Fri. 8 a.m.-10 p.m. / Sat – Sun 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.; Journal Square Plaza, 1 Journal Square (at Cottage St.), Mon – Fri 9 a.m. -5 p.m.; Mary Mcleod Bethune Life Center, 140 Martin Luther King Dr. and Pershing Field Pool, 201 Central Ave., 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. (7 Days A Week) – Ricardo Kaulessar
