NORTH BERGEN AND BEYOND — It’s an annual free winter celebration for North Bergenites and their kids, and as many as 10,000 people enjoy it each year. But this year’s Winterfest in the Hudson County town got a little more notice than usual over the weekend because a man was found by public works employees locked in an outdoor portable potty. Gothamist has picked up on the story, and repeats it
HERE.
Before that, one of the unusual stories to come out of Winterfest was the
finding of a balloon from the event in Nova Scotia.
But what about the event itself? It took place this past Thursday and was enjoyed by thousands of residents again. For a charming look at this year’s event, including some nice photos, pick up the North Bergen Reporter this coming weekend.
